The standout fragrance from my second order from Redwood Alchemy, by far. I am not exaggerating when I say tears were brought to my eyes on the very first whiff. Soil, dark and rich and wet. Damp and decaying leaves. It smells exactly as if I had found a quiet spot in a cool forest and dug my fingers into the earth, churning up the natural perfume there. An immensely, intensely transportive scent from the genius at Redwood, and I could not imagine myself filled with more joy.
Wear test notes; Undergrowth - light spicy woods, Old dusty cedar cabinet, Almost minty?, the drydown is sagey??
Honestly I feel like Reclaimed smells more like I imagined Undergrowth would smell. Anyone whose had an antique cedar chest, this is what that smells like to be. The dry down smells a little sharper and like sage maybe? Or mugwort? I can't put my finger on it. But I do love it.
