The Alchemist utilizes professional fragrance ingredients & raw aromatics to create unique, high quality, small-batch scents by hand. What is Parfum? Parfum is the most pure and highest quality of fragrance types. Parfum scents typically last up to 6-8hrs and are best for your skin with the least amount of alcohol and highest concentration of fragrance oils (15% - 40%). NOTE: International Shipping is available for Perfume Oils only. Why Perfume Oil? Perfume Oil is a more intimate, natural, and subtle carrier choice. Holding fragrance closer to the skin, perfume oil evaporates scent layers at slower and more uniform rates. The Organic Jojoba oil used in our Perfume Oil promotes healthy skin with the same pure, high-quality concentration of fragrance oils as our Parfum (15% - 40%). Redwood Alchemy Discovery Set

Redwood Alchemy: Brilliant, robust and woodsy without being overpowering. Sandalwood plays up strongly on me but it was certainly an asset for this scent. Haven: Very feminine and floral but without being cloying. Green petrichor scent overlays the rich florals. I felt like I was wandering though a florist's shop all day catching snippets of scents from different flowers but with a green, watery note underscoring all of it, not unlike fern or dewy grass. The violet note has come out strongly on me, this is a strictly personal chemistry thing. All in all very satisfied. The Parfum blends are long lasting, Haven and Alchemy lasted an easy 6 hrs at a moderate scent strength.

This is very nice! It has a sharp tang of *something*which really pops. Starts off wonderfully strong and slightly cologne-y (not at all a bad thing). Love the branding and packaging, too. Thank you!

Grave is basically the scent of potting soil or damp earth. I love dirt smells so I really like this one. Iron and Oak is a bit harder to describe. It's woodsy but in a subtle way, and the most prominent note for me was the oakmoss. Also very nice.

I got three kinds with the sample set, 'Iron and Oak' which was very nice and woodsy. Subtle and delightful. 'Anubis' which is incredibly interesting and smells wonderful. My cats love it too, unsurprisingly. And 'Blood'. It is sharp and pungent, as advertised. It isn't one to really wear, but I enjoy having it just to smell. I'm already placing an order for a full sized bottle of Anubis and would for sure get Iron and Oak again too~
